2010 Tourism Symposium claimed a "Great Success"

97 attendees enjoyed the knowledge and information from such speakers as

  • Researcher and Tourism Professional Carolyn Childs
  • International Tourism Guru Gary O'Riordan from Australian Tourism Export Council

as well as 10 other industry leaders.

Who is Outback NSW Tourism?
The Outback NSW Regional Tourism Organisation (ORTO) was formed by Tourism New South Wales in 1992 as one of the Regional Tourism Groups of NSW.  It is a not-for-profit organisation keyed with the responsibility of working with key tourism industry players in the region and promoting Outback NSW to potential tourists for the economic benefit of the area.  

ORTO’s structure is membership based with an industry led Board and is an Incorporated Association.  Members include anyone in the tourism industry which has a vested interest in the Outback area’s capacity to increase tourism visitation and expenditure.

Tourism NSW Partnership

TNSW_IINVTourism NSW, a part of Industry & Investment NSW, provides funding support for the Outback NSW Regional Tourism Organisation through the Regional Tourism Partnership Funding Program.

 
Membership - Outback NSW Tourism

As a not-for-profit organisation, Outback NSW Tourism seeks industry membership to increase the financial assets to conduct further promotion and development of the tourism industry for the area and its members.

Outback NSW Tourism thanks its members for their ongoing support in marketing & developing outback NSW!

Discover Downunder
frankie_j-L Discover Downunder has recently filmed Broken Hill, Menindee Lakes, Bindara, Pooncarie, Mungo and Wentworth for the Darling River Run campaign. This will go to air in capital cities on Saturday 16th May at 3:30pm EST.
